Thanksgiving Recipes

It’s that time of the year again! This year Thanksgiving falls on November 22nd, so if you haven’t already begun, it’s time to start planning your turkey dinner menu. I’ve put together a list of recipes below to get you started.

Don’t feel like cooking? Daunted by roasting a bird the size of a human baby? Need a hands-on lesson on how to deal with the whole experience? Never fear! I’ll be hosting a cooking class and my annual Thanksgiving dinner party this year at God Save the Food in Milan (details below). Reservations are required and seating is limited, so call the restaurant ASAP if you’re interested in coming.

Silky, Savory, Butternut Flan

Fall Pumpkin and Pear Soup

Roast Turkey and Stuffing

Stuffed Turkey with Herb Butter

Chestnut Stuffing

Buttermilk Biscuits

Cornbread

Maple and “Pecan” Pie

Mini Pumpkin Cupcakes

The most traditional Thanksgiving dessert is the classic pumpkin pie. You can find the recipe in two of my books: Buon Appetito America or American Bakery.
